Touring nearby sites and cities is easy from Cascina nel Bosco like the fascinating Olympic city and first capital of Italy, Turin (approx 20 min. By car) ,the Chieri area , home to the Abbey of S.Maria di Vezzolano (which dates back to the 1100s) and the Sanctuary of Colle Don Bosco (built alongside the house were the Saint was born) and the hills of Monferrato, full of cultural and gourmet itineraries (truffles , salami , and their famous breadsticks....)
